MIT Museum

Worked with the Director of the MIT Museum researching best practices for XR technology adoption in science and culture museums to support efforts for the MIT Museum 2022 relaunch in Kendall Square through an extensive analysis of interviews conducted with technology staff at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Tech Museum of Innovation, the MIT Museum, and the Universal Hip Hop Museum of the Bronx.

Spring 2018

Hyphen-Labs

Worked in collaboration with Hyphen Labs through the Artists in Residence program at the MIT Center for Art, Science & Technology to support development of the next phase of NeuroSpeculative AfroFeminism (NSAF). NSAF is a three-part digital narrative at the intersection of product design, virtual reality (VR) and neuroscience, which explores the lack of multidimensional representations of Black and Brown women in technology and futurism.

Mediate VR

Worked as a VR Research Consultant conducting lab studies on voice and gaze interaction in immersive 3D environments to collect training data for spatial AI system development. Mediate VR is a platform for speech-driven user research in virtual reality.

The Enemy
Fall 2016

The Enemy

Worked under the direction of Professor Fox Harrell and award-winning photojournalist Karim Ben Khelifa in a team of three through a graduate course to help enable customization based on user body language for The Enemy, a VR experience that lets users stand “face-to-face” with soldiers from opposing sides of global conflicts.
